“I am excited to be joining such a historic athletic program—just beyond excited to be able to get to go to work and continue to build the athletic programs,” Letinski said. “I am thrilled to be a Bluebird and will give my very best every day.”
Letinski spent the past academic year (2020-2021) overseeing the strength and conditioning plan for all levels of athletic teams at Tippecanoe Valley (IN) High School, and from 2018-2020 he was a graduate assistant at Southern Illinois University-Carbondale. At SIU, Mr. Letinski oversaw strength and conditioning for baseball, women’s soccer, men’s and women’s golf and the spirit programs.
“Aaron Letinski has a passion for what he does that will be contagious within our athletic programs. He comes to work every day with one mission—to see young people succeed,” Athletic Director Wes Caldwell said. “During the interview, he really stood out articulating a vision for how strength and conditioning programs lead to enhanced and sustained success across different sports.”
Letinski holds a B.A. in Exercise Science from Bluffton (OH) University, and a Master of Science in Kinesiology from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale. Letinski was an all-conference selection as a football player at Bluffton, and was twice named the team’s “Ironman Award” winner at the end of the season.
